The start of another new year has arrived, and despite this time of year being historically quiet in the building trade, Ellison & Groom Ltd are showing a healthy order book which will keep all the staff working flat out for the first quarter of the year. With this in mind, if you need to submit any quotaions or place an order, please do so at your earliest convenience to avoid lengthy lead times.

Ellison & Groom Ltd report sales increase of over 40% for financial year ending September 30th 2006.
Proof in itself that the products and services offered are of a consistently high quality, also this increase which is well above the industry average, suggests more and more customers are choosing Ellison & Groom Ltd above our competitors.

"Paddling for Blood"
Karl Eastham (Company Director) and a colleague of his will take on the challenge of canoeing the entire length of the Leeds to Liverpool Canal in just 6 days, that's 127 miles in total.
This is a fund raising effort and all monies raised will go directly to the Preston Royal Hospital who are in need of a life saving Criticare System, a piece of equipment that monitors blood pressure, helping children with blood disorders such as Leukemia and Heamophilia.
The paddling begins on Monday 4th September 2006, so if you would like to show your support by way of a donation, please send all cheques to our registered address and payable to K.J.Eastham.
The total money raised was £2690.00
This money was presented by cheque to Carolyne Davies who assists in fundraising for the Booth Hall and Pendlebury Hospitals.

After recent exposure on the BBC2 programme 'Resored to Glory' and also in the book published documenting the series, we have seen a substantial increase in orders for our traditional sliding sash windows.
Also as a result of an article in the November issue of Homebuilding & Renovation (page 32) we have started prelimenary talks with several Architects regarding supply and installation of all joinery products in new build projects.
April 2007
April has soon arrived again, time for another battle with distance and endurance.
John Eastham (Company Director) once again competed in the 2007 London Marathon, fininshing in a time of 4 hours 19 minutes. John is again raising money for Cancer Research any donation will be gratefully received.

Ellison & Groom Ltd would like to thank all the suppliers and customers who kindly sponsored John Eastham (Company Director) for taking part in this years London Marathon. The money has finally been collected and we are very proud to anounce that the amount raised for Cancer Research UK was £2008.50, once again a big thank you to everyone involved.
